Adults and children alike participate in these fun activities, especially the eating of the wonderful chili and cornbread!
Annual CMF Barbecue
This fun activity is carried out by the men of the church to raise funds for outreach projects sponsored by the CMF. The men enjoy the fellowship of working together to prepare, pack and sell the BBQ one weekend a year. This project is supported by the entire congregation as BBQ is loved by almost everyone, including the little ones!
Annual Church Picnic
This is an annual church-wide event providing the opportunity for all ages to participate in all manner of summertime outdoor athletic and non-athletic activities. The fun and fellowship in such an informal atmosphere is enjoyed by all who participate.
Mission Trips
From time to time short term mission trips have been lead to areas of natural disaster, or other areas of need. These trips have seen both youth and adults involved in numerous areas. Everyone who participates learns what it is to serve others in times of great need!
Sunday Morning Breakfast
Between the 8:30 AM service and 11:00 AM service, a continental breakfast is served by volunteers working with the Worship and Social Committees. Everyone who participates almost always will find some very good breakfast treats accompanied by plenty of coffee and juice. The fun and fellowship provide the opportunity for stimulating conversation, catching up on what is going on at church, as well as simply enjoying one another's company. Visitors are always welcome to participate while getting to know the members of the congregation as well as our church staff.
TWF
Once a month, on Wednesday nights, a pot luck supper is held for fun and fellowship of all ages. This provides opportunities for members to visit, share ideas about outreach opportunities, or just to catch up with their existing friends, as well as to make new friends. This venue is often used to provide information regarding the status of current programs, missions, and ministries in the life of the church. There is always a lively discussion going on at each table. The evening ends with a drawing of door prizes. Visitors are always welcome!
